These two Siamese tabby points were wonderful to paint. I loved doing Billy and Millie. I kept their fur warm in colour and set them against a lilac backdrop that compliments their coats. I wanted to give this painting a feeling of warmth and affection. This is a 20×16 acrylic painting on canvas.

The star of the show is Millie with those lovely blue eyes! Here’s a close up of Millie.

This recent commission of Justin was a lot of fun to paint. He’s a good looking Siamese cat and standing in front of the flowers  adds another colourful dimension to the portrait.

This is a portrait of Prince, a chocolate lab. I really enjoyed painting him and hope to do another painting of him soon. This painting is a 20×16 acrylic on canvas.

A couple of details….

This was a commission to paint Naomi, a black swan and her court of ducks on their home pond.

It’s a large painting, a 24×16 oil painting on stretched canvas.

In the background the household cats sit in the sun and watch the birds swim by.

This is Freddie. He is a commissioned portrait, an 18×18 inch acrylic painting on canvas. He has the most amazing eyes!

This is an oil painting of Chet, a bullmastiff. This was a recent commission. She’s posing with a stick and has a nice half profile. I like the warm colour of her coat against the blue grey of the boards of the decking.

Harvey is a gorgeous Maine Coon. What a good looking cat! I was lucky enough to paint him for his owner Charlotte. This is a 16×12 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas.
