Isn’t he gorgeous? This is Punapippuri, a beautiful ginger and white cat and, more importantly, Kitty King of Finland! I had the privilege of painting him recently.

This is Sally gorgeous ginger cat. What a yawn! I so loved painting her. Her coat is full of sunshine and she is such a character. Thank you Sally for volunteering her as a model! I do have a weakness for red cats.

This is Teddy, a magnificent red Maine Coon and one of my favourite cats. I love painting him! His fur is so full of colour.

This is Teddy, a spectacular Maine Coon and a very gentle and affectionate cat. I wanted to put him in a colourful setting that would set off his wonderful coat.

This painting is 16×16 inches and will be in the Society Of Feline Artists show in September.

This is a digital painting I created for an article. The brief was painting pets and these two show how our pets form family relationships, not just with us, but also with each other. German Shepherds are very loyal and protective dogs and Bonnie here is looking after little Fred.

This is a small painting, 8×6 inches acrylic on paper. The model is Rudolf and he has the sweetest face. I love him lying in the sink!

A close up…..

Harvey is a gorgeous Maine Coon. What a good looking cat! I was lucky enough to paint him for his owner Charlotte. This is a 16×12 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas.

The  flash  has bounced of the paint a little bit, sorry about that! Here’s a close up of the painting.

This commission to paint Ness, Vienna, Rigsby and Bob took me a while to complete. Their owners, Stuart and Jane, wanted the four of them curled up together but Ness doesn’t like having her photo taken! So I needed to come up with a pose that included all four cats even though we couldn’t get them to pose for the painting.
