I will be exhibition at the Feline Art Exhibition at the National Cat Centre in Sussex In April. This is one of the paintings going to the show.
The Society Of Feline Artists is holding a new feline art exhibition at Cats Protection in Sussex as part of Cats Protection’s 90th Anniversary celebrations. S.O.F.A. has always supported Cats Protection with yearly donations and the charity will benefit from each sale made at the show. So this is a great way of buying some art and helping cats at the same time.
The show will run from the 28th of April to the 7th of May 2017 at the National Cat Centre.
The Feline Art Exhibition
Cats Protection Visitors Centre,
National Cat Centre,
Life has been a bit chaotic recently and I haven’t had as much time to update the blog. One reason for that is the London show of the Society Of Feline Artists is underway at the Llewellyn Alexander gallery in Waterloo. The show looks wonderful and is on until the 19th of September. Do go along and see some amazing work by more than 50 artists.
Whisker Face is one of the paintings in the exhibition.
The first of the summer shows is the “Dogs & Cats” Art Exhibition at Obsidian Art, Stoke Mandeville, in Bucks. I’m proud to be a part of this show, donations and a percentage of proceeds will be donated to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. It’s a great cause and the gallery is in a beautiful part of the countryside.

And here are my paintings…
Photos of the hang and of the private view can seen on the SOFA blog. There’s a slideshow with plenty of photos so you can get a good look around the show. Almost as good as being there.
Some of my paintings will be on show in the Animals In Art show at Bell Fine Art in Winchester from the 20th of November until the 11th of December.
The invites are out for the 2009 SOFA show. It runs from the 28th of August to the 18th of September at Llewellyn Alexander gallery, opposite The Old Vic theatre in London’s Waterloo.
This is Leo. I loved the way she was sitting in the sun enjoying the warmth in her fur. The light was wonderful and a real challenge to paint! I couldn’t resist! This is a 10×12 inch oil painting which will be in the Society Of feline Artists show in September.
I’ll be in Edenbridge on Saturday the 29th at the Eden Valley Artists Art and Crafts Fair in Rickards Hall, High Street, Edenbridge. I’ll have small prints, framed prints and Christmas cards for sale. Come and see us!
The private view for the Society Of Feline Artists London show went very well and it was wonderful to meet so many peole there despite the tube strike. I was amazed and thrilled to win the Llewellyn Alexander Award this year for the painting Lick Me! Thank you to the gallery for choosing ‘Lick me!’ and thank you to my model Chi for posing for the picture. He ate a LOT of cream that day and managed not to be sick.
