A cocker spaniel lying in wait in the grass. She’s hunkered down among the daisies, waiting for her sister to run across the lawn so she can spring up and surprise her. I wanted to capture her intense expression as she watches the other dog and times her ambush. This was a 16×12 inch oil painting, now sold but there are limited edition prints available.
