A summer’s day in by the sea, the air hums with life. Bees drift between tall foxgloves and wildflowers, their gentle movement set against the sparkle of the sea and the rocky sweep of Marble Bay. Beyond the shoreline, the town twinkles in the sun. In the foreground wildflowers sway, alive with the hum of bees. A colourful reminder of nature’s beauty and its quiet conversations by the sea. That day I saw bumble bees, white tailed bees, carder bees and leaf cutter bees. It was magical. I’ve tried to include them all in the painting.
