Did you know a cat’s whiskers are way more than decoration? They’re incredible super sensors! Each whisker is packed with nerves, helping cats measure spaces, judge distances, and even feel tiny shifts in the air around them. That’s how they slip through gaps, land perfectly on their paws, and pull off those graceful, ninja-like hunting moves. No wonder your cat always seems one step ahead!

That’s what inspired me to paint Whisker Face, a close-up of my boy Harry, showing off his fabulous whiskers and one golden eye against a bold red background. He’s such a handsome lad, and I wanted to capture that unusual angle where his whiskers really shine.
