This is Kensie, a beautiful dark tabby cat, in her favourite chair relaxing and enjoying the summer sun. She looks so comfortable, she seems to glow in the sunshine. This was a recent commission. She is a 16×12 painting on board, framed in a shadow frame. The board is floated in the frame so it casts a shadow on the background. The frame was then painted to match her chair.
